A release had the awesome milestone of Stratolaunch announced. They also simulated landing approach ay 15,000 meters (49,000 feet) before safely landing at the Space Port where it departed from.

As part of the initial flight, the pilots evaluated aircraft performance and handling qualities before landing successfully back at the Mojave Air and Space Port, Stratolaunch said in a statement.

Since the demise of Stratolaunch's founder Paul Allen in October 2018, the company has been quietly preparing for the maiden flight of the airborne platform, which is now the largest airplane by wingspan ever two fly.

He added: "Today's flight furthers our mission to provide a flexible alternative to ground launched systems".

Until then, you can have a look at Stratolaunch's maiden flight in the video attached below.

Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris scored 20 points apiece for Boston, which won handily despite shooting just 36.4 percent. But there was a gradual decrescendo, as the Celtics managed to tally just 6 points in the first six minutes of play.

It's a novel idea which has already seen the company sign up its first customer in Northrop Grumman, which plans to use Stratolaunch to send its Pegasus XL rocket into space.

Stratolaunch was established in 2011 by Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen, who died in October a year ago. While it does have the largest wingspan, it does not have the longest nose-to-tail length. The reinforced center wing can support multiple launch vehicles, weighing up to a total of 500,000 pounds, according to the venture.

This enormous aircraft took flight on Saturday.

The test: The twin-fuselage plane has six engines and was made from two used Boeing jetliners. Jody Allen, chair of Vulcan Inc. and Trustee of the Paul G. Allen Trust said, 'We all know Paul would have been proud to witness today's historic achievement'.
