Passenger Jumps Out of Jet at Phoenix Airport

“Once the flight arrived at the gate the passenger opened one of the doors and jumped off the aircraft,” according to American Airlines

The man was brought to the front of the plane after landing to disembark first because of some odd behaviors that he was exhibiting, such as touching other passengers' faces and spraying a spray bottle on them.

It was a odd episode on American Airlines flight 1346 on April 12, 2019, as a 25-year-old man touched the faces of other passengers and sprayed them with an unknown substance before jumping off the grounded plane, Phoenix, Arizona, police said.

The man was brought to the front of the plane to be escorted off after it landed at terminal 4, but he was able to open an emergency exit and jump from the plane.

He fell about 10 feet and suffered injuries described as minor.

Police said he could face trespassing charges after his bid to escape the plane at Sky Harbor International Airpor. Law enforcement and paramedics responded'.

According to the police statement, he was stopped by airport workers after his dramatic escape bid and was taken into custody.

American Airlines Flight 300 was carrying 101 passengers when it took off at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The man has not been identified but is said to be a 25-year-old man. Police do not know what was inside the bottle. According to the Arizona Republic, the passenger, whose name has not been released, became disruptive during the flight and led the flight crew to call for the police to meet the aircraft.
