Ford Mustang Gains Grabber Lime Color In Time For St. Patrick’s Day

Ford Mustang Gets Grabber Lime Paint In Honor Of St. Paddy’s Day

"It's lime green on steroids", said Barb Whalen, Ford colour and materials manager, in a release.

Ford also made a decision to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a video of Vaughn Gittin Jr. drifting his green 900-hp Mustang around a highway cloverleaf interchange.

Ford unveiled a new shade of green for its upcoming Shelby Mustang GT500 mid-March, just ahead of the St. Patrick's Day holiday.

Ford's new retro-inspired Grabber Lime is so bright that it should come with a pair of sunglasses. The 700-hp Shelby GT500 will be racing into dealerships this fall and will be offered in a variety of bright colors, including Twister Orange (shown below) and Red Hot Metallic. We don't know how much the range-topping Shelby will cost, but Ford promises a sub-11-second quarter mile time and a 0-60 mile-per-hour (96 kilometer-per-hour) sprint of around three seconds.
