Huawei P30 Pro Spotted in GeekBench, P30 Series certified in Indonesia & Thailand

Huawei Busted for Faking Smartphone Photos Yet Again

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro was launched in November, 2018 along with the Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 X. It is with no doubt that Huawei's Mate series smartphones kept enjoying the spotlight throughout 2018 till date. The smartwatches that the company will bring besides the P30 smartphones later in March are the Huawei Watch GT Active and the Watch GT Elegant.

Huawei P30 Pro launch is set for March 26 in Paris. In the latest P30 teaser, the company used a few images indicating the improved, lossless zoom ability in the upcoming device. More importantly, the P30 Pro's periscope camera was already confirmed - that's the kind of tech that will support even better zoom than competing flagships.

As per renders and leaks, the P30 Pro will feature a waterdrop notched display with a slim bottom bezel. Since the sheer popularity of the P20 Pro previous year, Huawei has pushed its camera technology to the forefront. More recently, the P30 Pro reportedly flexed its muscles in AnTuTu test website. In addition, the spokesperson added that Huawei has acquired the licenses to the original images and the posters are artistic renditions of said features.

The P30 Pro visited Geekbench and earned a single-core score of 3289, and a multi-core score of 9817-about par with other Kirin 980-powered devices.

Huawei Nova 4e, aka Huawei Mate 30 Lite press renders leaked

The front looks a lot like the expected Huawei P30, although the notch of the patented model is further reduced.

Based on the patent, Huawei's version has a square-shaped second screen occupying the top half of the phone's back, just below the horizontal triple camera array. It is possible that Huawei intends to apply the patented design for its new Mate devices. The 10X zoom option is undeniably quite interesting given how manufacturers opt for a wide angle and telephoto lens over an optical zoom one but this could be the next big thing in terms of smartphone camera trends. To the left of the three cameras is a flash and a laser autofocus system.

The last time this happened was in August, when Huawei used DSLR-shot photos for a Huawei Nova 3 commercial.
