While gamers are no doubt excited to get the chance to play as all 74 characters in Super Smash Bros. But Nintendo sees the game's release as an opportunity to sell a lot more Amiibo and is releasing a very limited edition mega-box of the figurines to celebrate.

Nintendo Will Sell 63 Amiibo in One Package in Japan

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is set to launch on December 7, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. It will launch on the same day as the game and as the name suggests, it contains 63 Amiibo figurines.

A spokesperson from Nintendo recently confirmed that while there are different requirements that need to be met to unlock each character, the process for getting all of them should only take a few hours. I can only imagine the mark up on the price when one of these boxes inevitably ends up on eBay. Figures that arrive next year, such as King K. Rool and the Ice Climbers (February 15) and Piranha Plant (which doesn't have a release date) are also included.

Not every Super Smash Bros. In addition to helping veteran players keep everything straight, this would also serve as a pretty good jumping off point for someone who's new to the series, as the announcer kicks things off by explaining the basic concepts of Super Smash Bros.
