Infant ibuprofen recalled due to high concentrations sold at Walmart CVS and Family Dollar

FBN's Cheryl Casone on Tris Pharma's recall of liquid ibuprofen for infants.

A New Jersey pharmaceutical company has recalled three lots of its infant ibuprofen product over concerns that the painkiller might be more potent than previously stated. It was sold in lots that went to some Walmart, CVS Pharmacy and Family Dollar stores.

The release added there is a slight possibility that a higher potency could cause infants to develop permanent renal or kidney injuries. Other possible adverse effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea, as well as tinnitus, headache and stomach bleeding.

However, the company didn't specify which states received the product.
