Seven teams interested in trading for Terry Rozier

Celtics point guard Terry Rozier is reportedly coveted by a number of teams in need of help at point guard

Talking to reporters during the shootaround prior to Thursday night's game against the Suns in Phoenix the Celtics guard responded to the report in The Athletic that at least seven teams have shown interest in trading for him, Rozier told reporters, "That's how it should be". He's making 39.4 percent of his 3s, but his dwindling numbers further hurt his trade value.

The Ringer's Bill Simmons suggested the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic make sense as possible destinations with San Antonio as an interesting possibility. Simmons lists those three teams as well in his thread of tweets.

Elsewhere in Boston, with Kyrie Irving verbally committing to a return and a new deal with the Celtics, the franchise will eventually have to face a hard decision when it comes to the possible lucrative restricted free agency of Terry Rozier. The only way they'd be able to retain him is if they were able to get a discount on him. As of now, the C's are happy with their roster, but their phone lines are hot with teams interested in Rozier.

Brad and Angelina Ready for War In Custody Trial
The former couple are parents to six children - Maddox , 17, Pax , 14, Zahara , 13, Shiloh , 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox , 10. Sources tell People that the listed court date is seen as a target date for Brad and Angie to reach an agreement on custody.

Whatever the truth is, the team may be better off shopping him around.

What sort of action the Celtics will take with regards to Rozier's free agency remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that he would make a fine addition to a lot of teams.

Now in his fourth year in the league, Rozier is averaging 7.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 22 minutes off of the bench. Last season he really found his niche, but it helped that he was plugged into the starting lineup after Kyrie Irving went down with an injury. He's not having the best start to the season, but maybe a change of scenery can fix that. The Louisville product is an athletic guard who has the ability to fill it up on any night, giving the Celtics a bench threat who can play on and off the ball.
