Facebook Messenger will let iPhone users unsend messages

FB messenger

You can finally take back your ill-conceived messages on Facebook.

"Remove a message from a chat thread after it's been sent".

If you're too drunk to realize you're sending messages to someone late at night, you're probably too drunk to remember you have 10 minutes to delete them.

Yet users will need to be quick as Facebook are giving those wanting to retrieve their messages just 10 minutes to do so.

Users may now delete messages on the Messenger app but it only reflects on the sender's end and remains on the recipient's thread.

Facebook didn't announce the feature yet, but The Verge spotted it in the "coming soon" section of the release notes from Messenger for iPhone version 191.0.

Earlier last month, it was reported that Facebook was working on a feature that allows you to unsend Messenger messages. Gmail actually holds the email in a que for the time interval chosen. Facebook's unsend for both its messaging apps will actually deliver the message when you hit send.

Have you ever sent a message and immediately regretted it?
