'Breaking Bad' movie in the works by Vince Gilligan

Breaking Bad

The New Mexico Film Office confirmed that a movie called "Greenbrier", said to be the title, will begin production in Albuquerque mid-November through early February, the Albuquerque Journal reported.

A movie set in the so-called Breaking Bad universe is expected to begin production in Albuquerque in the USA this month and will be directed and written by original showrunner Vincent Gilligan, according to reports.

It's also not yet known if Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul will participate in any way. Apparently the film bears the code name Greenbrier, but beyond that, no details have been released. It follows a high school chemistry teacher Walter White, essayed by Cranston, who finds extreme measures to earn a living after he realises that his salary will not be enough to support his family.

There's always been talk - or at least hope - that Vince Gilligan would bring the show back for some sort of final run dealing with the aftermath of the original finale, but as the years go by, it's looked less and less likely. Bob Odenkirk says "I don't think so", but maybe Walter White knows something Saul Goodman doesn't?

Thomas Tuchel's side defeated second-place Lille 2-1 despite being without Edison Cavani, who is nursing a hamstring injury. The Reds face a trip to PSG in two weeks time before ending their group campaign at home to Napoli .

This is the first project for Vince Gilligan - who created "Breaking Bad" and co-created the spinoff, "Better Call Saul" - after signing a three-year deal with Sony Pictures Television in July.

After being rumoured for awhile now, it has been been confirmed that a breaking Bad Movie will start filming this month. Intriguingly, he teased that the movie may feature a couple of characters whose story arcs were not seen through completion. It would join prequel series Better Call Saul.

The series which ran for five seasons and won multiple Emmy Awards, ended in 2013. Would it be a sequel following one of the ancillary characters from Breaking Bad? It could have - and probably would have - been canceled without Netflix helping fans discover the show.

Vince Gilligan is about to break bad again - this time in an even bigger way.
