NFL Reporter Melissa Stark Hit In Head By Football, Makes Epic Comeback

NFL Network reporter gets hit in head by football on live TV shakes it off perfectly

NFL Network's Melissa Stark was sideline reporter for the Chargers v Titans game in London on Sunday (local time). "I'm really not in a good area here", she said as she continued to give her report, flinching from further potential hits but staying focused on getting the facts of her report across against the odds.

Nothing like live television. I've really taken one for the team....

In fairness, Stark fared a lot better than her NFL Network colleague Ian Rapoport when he took his shot to the head...

This marked the first hit that Stark has taken in her 22-year career, which kicked off in 1996 at ESPN. "London, I'll never forget you!" she joked, adding that she was thankfully "already off the injury report".

The star running back was sidelined with a hamstring injury, but he wasn't the only person who was surprisingly placed on the injury report.

Well played, Melissa Stark.

The Chargers ultimately topped the Titans, 20-19.
