Neymar dismisses Barcelona return Real Madrid transfer links as 'fake news'

Spanish giants FC Barcelona's president has finally responded to rumours linking Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar with a return to the Catalan club.

The reports claim that the Brazilian feels like he is being overshadowed by French youngster Kylian Mbappe at the club.

It seems as if the moment Neymar left Barcelona for PSG that the groundwork for his return to La Liga was already underway.

Neymar also reportedly misses the relationship he shared with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, when the three players combined to become the most unsafe attacking trio in Spain.

'We don't plan to sign anyone in January, unless the coaches ask for someone before then, ' he told Catalunya Radio.

That does not mean he can not leave earlier, just that a club would have to haggle with PSG if they wanted to sign him and it would probably be for a fee greater than his 2020 release clause.

Manchester City's Pep Guardiola hails 'incredible' Riyad Mahrez goal vs. Burnley
Dyche wasn't saying the result would have altered, but said: "In the modern game that's a red card (Kompany)". In my opinion he's another top-class goalkeeper that we've got here.

'Neymar? He left and there are no plans to bring him back'.

He suggested that Barcelona would not be able to put together enough cash together to sign Neymar, even if they sold Ousmane Dembélé.

Since joining PSG, Neymar has been in prolific form, scoring 39 goals in 41 games in all competitions, as well as registering 21 assists.

Despite the interest, PSG defender Marquinhos has dismissed any talk of Neymar leaving and insisted that his compatriot is not looking for an exit route.

"People know what our president is like, how he is with his people and how he loves our important players".

So I can't see any reason why he would let Neymar leave.
