Scarlett Johansson will reportedly make $15 million on upcoming Black Widow film

This is on par with what Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth earned for the latest Captain America and Thor standalone films, as well as in this year's Avengers: Infinity War, the publication said.

Do you guy this $15 million figure and if so, do you think it's a good one for Johansson and the eventual Black Widow film?

Scarlett Johansson, already the world's highest-paid actress, according to Forbes, is going to be paid a cool $15 million for starring in the first standalone Black Widowmovie, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter. For comparison to relatively new Avengers, Chadwick Boseman was reportedly paid $2 million for Black Panther and Brie Larson $5 million for Captain Marvel - though it's worth noting that Marvel has been notoriously stingy on acting contracts in the past for first-time supers.

THR points out that the high salaries are just a small dent in the box office grosses for these films: Each "Avengers" film has easily made more than $1 billion worldwide, and "Infinity War" crossed the $2 billion mark.

In 2008, Marvel hadn't released any movies at all - Iron Man was the first - and the Avengers series wasn't even a thing.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. It was an emotional day to say the least.

He has played the character in three "Captain America" movies and four "Avengers" films, including the upcoming "Avengers 4".

Next year's Avengers 4 - believed to be titled Avengers: Annihilation - is expected to do similar business, following the last movie's shocking cliffhangers.

While no villain or other heroes have been named, there has been unsubstantiated speculation that the Taskmaster might make his long awaited MCU debut in this movie.
