Trump ends ex-CIA head John Brennan's security access

John Brennan

"Today in fulfilling that responsibility, I've chose to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency".

Trump announced the decision in a statement from him read by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at her daily news briefing. Yates served in the Obama administration and had agreed to stay in the job under Trump.

A spokesman for Brennan declined to immediately comment.

Not everyone on this list appears to still have a security clearance.

Susan Rice, the former national security adviser.

Trump fired Comey from his post as FBI director in May 2017 over the bureau's Russian Federation investigation. MORE's security clearance, an action Paul had lobbied Trump to take.

"I have also begun to review the more general question of the access to classified information by government officials". I'm taking bets. How much will the inevitable John Brennan GoFundMe raise in ResistanceBucks?

That gaffe revealed that Trump had chose to strip Brennan's clearance last month - days after he threatened to do so - and after Sen.

"We have never had a former Communist who we now know spread Russian lies to disinform and propagandize the American people [and affect] a presidential election", Sean Hannity said.

The games continue to come quick and fast for D.C, they look to make it three wins in a week with victory over New England. But the game turned after he almost scored again two minutes later, with Bill Hamid came out of his area to deny a header.

Brennan has been extremely critical of the president. And the goal is not to benefit the individual.

"I've seen this type of behavior and actions on the parts of foreign tyrants, despots, and autocrats for many, many years during my Central Intelligence Agency and national security career", he told Wallace of Trump's revocation, adding, "I never, ever thought I'd see it here in the United States".

The individuals were accused - without details - of politicizing and monetizing their public service and security clearances.

Mr Brennan said in another tweet that the move "should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out".

Unless one understands and remembers this, it is understandably hard to believe that the very top US law enforcement and intelligence officials did what documentary evidence has now demonstrated they did.

What needs to be borne in mind in all this is, as former FBI Director James Comey himself has admitted: "I was making decisions in an environment where Hillary Clinton was sure to be the next president".

"I'm unaware of either a valid reason or any precedent for this action".

So what, who's going to stop him?

Mr Trump said that while former intelligence heads continued to have security access so they could advise their successors, "neither of these justifications supports Mr Brennan's continued access to classified information". "The CIA director or DNI should speak up on this one". Bob Corker, R-Tenn., saying, "Unless there's something tangible that I'm unaware of, it just, as I've said before, feels like a banana republic kind of thing". "He only helps Trump when he makes them".
