Omarosa: 'I Was Complicit With This White House Deceiving This Nation'

Flowers and messages are left at a memorial to Heather Heyer ahead of the one year anniversary of 2017 Charlottesville

Omarosa Manigault-Newman claimed to have been complicit with the Trump administration in deceiving America during an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday morning.

"The first time I ever heard Omarosa suggest those bad things about this president are in this book", she said, noting Manigault Newman "is somebody who gave a glowing appraisal of Donald Trump the businessman, the star of the 'The Apprentice, ' the candidate and, indeed, the president of the United States".

Omarosa Manigault has been all over the news this week with excerpts from her new book, where she's accused President Donald Trump of racism, said he's mentally declining, and claimed to have recorded conversations with him without his knowledge.

Manigault Newman had said in the book that she had not personally heard the recording. In a subsequent interview, she changed her story to say that she had heard Trump utter that word, a reversal that highlighted her not-exactly-sterling level of credibility.

Along with her "race war" comments Omarosa said, laughing, that "oh yeah, there's some people gettin' it on in the white house".

"I was complicit with this White House deceiving this nation - they continue to deceive this nation", she said.

"I was so much a part of this, and I accept and I admit that I was", she said. Why did John Kelly, who has a large, private office, feel that was the best place to fire her?

Nike Hit With Lawsuit From Ex-Employees Alleging Discrimination
She claimed in the lawsuit that she was paid $20,000 (Dh73,464) a year less in 2017 than a male co-worker doing much the same job. The lawsuit claims that Nike is at fault for failing to "assure a non-hostile work environment that provided equal opportunity".

The White House and Trump allies have blasted Newman's account as false in numerous statements.

Manigault Newman's book also alleges how Trump made a farcical effort to sell copies of his book Trump: The Art Of The Deal at his inauguration as President in January a year ago. Trump blamed the violence on "many sides", rather than condemning the white supremacists who were protesting.

Conway then launched into a scathing condemnation of supporters of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, accusing them of being "so afraid that they needed to prop her up, that she was such a non-compelling, non-persuasive, pathetic candidate that they had to dig up dirt on Donald Trump early on".

Slate reports that Omarosa writes that she was offered $15,000 in hush money that she didn't accept upon being fired, Trump thinks Donald Jr.is a "f**kup", she once saw him swallow a piece of paper, and Trump once asked her if he should use his book The Art of the Deal for his swearing in instead of the Bible.

She added, "The president lies to the American people". Sarah Huckabee stands in front of the country and lies every single day.

The former Apprentice contestant has been on the warpath ever since she was forced out, and the level of damage she might do to the Trump administration, armed with appear to be several secret recordings, remains to be seen. "You have to have your own back or else you'll look back and you'll have 17 knives in your back".

Manigault Newman didn't resign her position in the White House after Charlottesville, though, instead staying on for several months before being fired in December of previous year. "No one. So I protected myself and I'm going to tell you, I'm so glad I did".
