The holiday firm, which has a site in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, said it takes guest data seriously. I would like to apologise for any upset or inconvenience this incident might cause.

The holiday company has insisted that no financial details were accessed in the breach.

A spokesperson confirmed to Sky News that the compromise had taken place over the past 72 hours, and was believed to be caused by a phishing email.
