'Real Housewife' Bethenny Frankel's boyfriend found dead in Trump Tower

He was pronounced dead at around 10:15 a.m.

The victim was Dennis Shields, who has been known to date Bethenny Frankel of "The Real Housewives of NY", a police source said. Page Six, which was first to report the death, reports that Shields died of a suspected overdose, although the medical examiner has not yet determined an official cause of death. He asked his assistant to administer Narcan, medication used to reverse the effects of opioids, about 9 a.m., the Post reported.

The 47-year-old SkinnyGirl mogul has largely kept her relationship with Shields private, but back in December 2016, the duo stepped out together for an event, in which Frankel told People magazine: "I love him, I care about him and he's awesome".

During a May TV appearance on the Steve Harvey Show, Bethenny opened up about her relationship with Dennis.

"He said, 'You better get out ASAP.' That's how I knew to get out, otherwise I'd still be in there", Shield recalled.

We want to be champions of England, but what about [Manchester] United and the other clubs? We were in finals. Do we go to finals again? "I have not seen him [again] so far so we will see about his availability".

Dennis Shields, 51, has been in what the "Real Housewives of New York" star described as an "on and off" relationship since 2016.

"And I think we might be at that point, believe it or not", she added. Police did not name Shields.

Bethenny recently commented on RHONY that she was taking a break from her relationship from Dennis, but still loved him.

The Skinnygirl founder continued, "If both people aren't happy about it but slightly uncomfortable and giving up something or giving in [to] something, it doesn't work".
