The Doctor Who Series 11 Trailer is Here!

She says everything is new: New worlds. Moffat ran the show for five seasons from 2010 to 2017, largely creating the Eleventh (Matt Smith) and Twelfth (Capaldi) Doctors, all while simultaneously turning fellow BBC series Sherlock into a awful, unwatchable show.

Whittaker has said she is confident there will not be similar revelations related to Doctor Who in six months time. And though the trailer is brief, it's jam-packed with exciting new adventures, plenty of action, and lots of awestruck faces pulled by Walsh, Gill, and Cole, the humans who are brought along for an adventure across time and space with Whittaker's eccentric Doctor. So, she taxis it, then hops on a plane, then crosses the footbridge by the Bayfront and asks a fan for directions to Hall H. When the film ends, Whittaker walks out onto the stage, much to the audience's delight.

"It felt like the right thing to do for this Doctor", she says.

English actress and singer Sharon D Clarke will also join the series in a returning role.

She told thePress Association: "As people in the industry, as a woman in the industry, to not be aware of it [the gender pay row] would be naive but it hasn't been a part of this show".

Details about the characters are scant but Whittaker has described the TARDIS crew as very different to each other - both in real life and on screen.
