Xherdan Shaqiri arrives at Liverpool for medical ahead of Stoke move

All going well with the medical, the deal should be confirmed by Liverpool soon after - allowing Shaqiri to join up with his new teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States.

Shaqiri's medical tests started before 9am on Friday and if everything goes to plan there should be an official announcement in the next 24 hours.

Regardless, everything seems to be in place for Shaqiri to become Klopp's third signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Naby Keita and Fabinho.
