Samsung Galaxy S10+ likely to feature triple-lens camera

Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8 Get Home Screen Rotation With Samsung Experience Launcher Update

After adding the video lock-screen option of Galaxy S9 variants to Galaxy S8s and Note 8, now Samsung is adding another feature in the last year's flagships.

Sources told Korean publication 'The Bell,' that the upcoming Galaxy S10+ is expected to feature a whopping five camera lenses - a front-facing dual-lens camera and a rear-facing triple-lens camera. The display will have a corner on all four sides. The dual face cameras will likely be used to support their version of Apple's Face ID.

What's not as understandable is why the fingerprint reader has to be placed on the frame instead of in a more conventional place like the back. This new and exciting feature is however exclusive only to the Plus variant.

It will be flanked by a 16MP super-wide-angle lens (123 degrees) with f/1.9 aperture to the right and a 13MP zoom lens with f/2.4 aperture to the left.

The Fingerprint on Display (FOD) units will be embedded in the OLED display of Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S10+ by Samsung Display.

With talks about Samsung looking to announce their new Samsung Galaxy X, we might end up seeing the Samsung Galaxy S10 early this time. The upcoming galaxy device is one of the most anticipated devices with such specs and the hype it is surrounded by. It has been speculated that the company may embed the speakers in the display to reduce that bezel space.
