DJ Khaled pulls out of Wireless 2018 performance 'due to travel issues'

Madonna spotted at Wireless Festival as she runs on-stage during Migos

DRAKE SURPRISED fans at Wireless Festival after hitting the stage at London's Finsbury Park.

The fact remained, though, that many fans had bought tickets to see Khaled and Drake's short time on stage didn't necessarily constitute a full headline set in their eyes.

Rapper Drake replaced DJ Khaled as the headliner at Wireless Festival on Sunday, and fans could not have been happier.

Making his way onto the Wireless Festival stage, Drake was brought out by United Kingdom rapper Giggs and they burst into their joint hit "KMT" before Drake performed a surprise setlist of his own.

Decked in a jersey bearing the logo of his label, OVO, Drake raced through a brief but tight six-song set featuring premiere performances of songs from his new album "Scorpion", which crushed streaming records after its release last Friday, becoming the first album to pass the 1-billion-stream mark in a single week.

Fans had been asking questions after seeing a video of him in an Instagram post just hours ago in an infinity pool on holiday in Mexico.

Festival-goers were less than impressed by Khaled's concert snub, and made sure to vent their frustrations in the picture's comments section.

As it turns out, Wireless Festival organizers actually knew for months that DJ Khaled wouldn't be able to make it overseas for his previously announced headlining set.

Another tweeted: "Pls DJ Khaled and his friends better be on a jet to wireless rn".

One wrote: "Drake is at #wireless... was a good substitution still".
