Who will Jurgen Klopp trust out of Ojo, Wilson and Kent?

Loris Karius

It appears as though Loris Karius still hasn't got his Champions League nightmare out of his head after he committed another terrible error in Liverpool's pre-season match at Tranmere.

The Reds raced into a three-goal lead before half-time as Rafa Camacho, Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana - wearing the captain's armband - all struck ahead of the interval.

"It [criticism] will probably happen for a while until he has a few fantastic games, that is how the situation is", he said.

The Reds beat Tranmere Rovers 3-2 at Prenton Park on Wednesday with each youngster being afforded some game time by the German; 45 minutes each to be precise.

Liverpool emerged as 3-2 victors but in his second appearance since the Champions League final - when his two mistakes cost Jurgen Klopp's side - Karius made a enormous error.

Sterling at heart of England bid despite goal drought
Sterling has found his performances being placed under the microscope arguably more than any other England player by certain publications.

He said: "Now Loris concedes that goal but we can not start the story always after each mistake".

Ben Tollitt, who is a huge supporter of Klopp's side, turned around as he ran off to celebrate with Smith and shouted towards Karius 'you're f****** s****'. Our job is to perform and you do what you do and that is part of the deal.

He remains Liverpool's preferred target, however, Karius is for now remaining Jurgen Klopp's No.1. "I would say the second one, but we don't talk about that".

Klopp said that Karius will be heavily scrutinised by the media and fans until he can string together some consistent performances for the club but that the media can help by stop asking about his obvious mistakes. We had more chances to score, but then we conceded the goals, which is not nice.
