American woman, 27, killed by stray bullet outside Mexico City restaurant

Mirutenko 27 was known for her positive energy and enthusiasm her employer says

Mexican police have made no arrests in the stray-bullet death of a 27 year old Chicago area woman, three days after she was struck down in front of an upscale Mexico City restaurant.

Tatiana Mirutenko, 27, was shot while exiting a restaurant in the Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood of the Mexico capital at about 5:50 a.m.

Mirutenko was killed by a stray bullet and the bouncer was wounded, but survived, according to the city's prosecutors office.

From her rescue dog, to her travels, to her husband, to her love for food, Tatiana Mirutenko's social media accounts document the life she built.

"A year ago, we were selecting flowers for the wedding", said Wasyl Mirutenko, the dead woman's father, in an interview with ABC.

Mirutenko grew up in the northwest suburbs and lived in Chicago before moving to San Francisco for a job opportunity, according to her family.

"She always went out of her way to make me feel special", Roma said.
