"Put simply, a no-deal scenario directly threatens Airbus" future in the United Kingdom'.

Mr Crabb tweeted: "The enormous Airbus factory in North Wales is one of the jewels in the crown of United Kingdom manufacturing".

The report goes on to say Airbus is "preparing to abandon plans to build aircraft wings at its British plants and move production to China the U.S. or elsewhere in Europe".

Airbus employees test undercarriage at the company's Filton factory near Bristol.

Speaking at a private dinner for Tory donors, Mr Johnson was recorded saying there was now a high chance that Mrs May would cross her own Brexit red lines and leave the United Kingdom "locked in orbit around the EU in the customs union and to a large extent still in the single market".

The company's big fear is that Britain may leave the European Union in March 2019 without a transition deal to keep it temporarily in the bloc's single market and customs union.

The Airbus risk assessment said operating under WTO rules could cost the company billions of pounds every week in loss of turnover and delay penalties.

Meet the new Audi A1
The radar sensor recognizes critical situations involving other vehicles, crossing pedestrians or cyclists ahead of the vehicle. The latest generation operating system is available with Apple CarPlay, Android Audi and various other interfaces available.

"This scenario would force Airbus to reconsider its investments in the United Kingdom, and its long-term footprint in the country", it added.

If there was no extension to the Brussels transition period, the company threatened to stop partnering with any new United Kingdom suppliers.

The story by the papers Policial Editor Francis Elliot and Industrial Editor Robert Lee claims Airbus has lost patience with Theresa May's stalled Brexit negotiations. A pragmatic, sensible Brexit that protects trade & jobs is vital'.

Thursday's statement is not the first time Airbus has demanded more clarity over the Brexit process. In March, Katherine Bennett, the senior vice-president for Airbus in the United Kingdom, told the BBC Radio 4 Today programme that a three-hour wait on a lorry at Dover "would be a critically bad issue for Airbus", as would be delaying cargo flights carrying completed wings to Europe.

The period is "too short for Airbus to implement the required changes with its extensive supply chain", it said. "It's really important that the parts don't get held up in warehouses".

He said: "With the scheme, we're meeting our commitment to secure the rights of European Union citizens who are already in this country, contributing in so many ways, they're working, they're studying, or for other reasons". Our key preference is for the United Kingdom to remain a home nation for Airbus.

The warnings from Airbus echo comments made on Wednesday by the boss of Siemens in the UK.
