More worry for Brazil as Neymar leaves training early

On Sunday, Brazil drew 1-1 with Switzerland, with Neymar playing the whole match for the first time having been sidelined for nearly three months with a foot injury, which required surgery.

Brazil kicked off their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Sunday evening but the big point of discussion going into the game was the latest creation atop Neymar's head.

Brazil is coming off a 1-1 draw with Switzerland in its opening match of the 2018 World Cup.

Neymar recently returned from a fractured metatarsal suffered while playing for Paris Saint-Germain in a Champions League match in February.

The Brazilian football confederation says the injury is not serious, adding Neymar left as a precaution and would be back in training tomorrow.

"Willian is going to be the best player at the tournament, alongside Neymar".

After taking on Switzerland, tournament favourites Brazil go up against Costa Rica and Serbia in their other Group E fixtures.

Phillipe Coutinho, who opened the scoring against Switzerland, said the players did not consider the Costa Rica clash to be a must-win match.

"We haven't spoken about (it being a must-win game)", he told reporters after a training session. That was the message we took from the first game.

World Cup Daily: Poland and Colombia fail to impress, while it just keeps getting better for hosts Russian Federation.
