Trump campaign working with former Cambridge Analytica employees

Trump's 2020 Campaign Effort Has Hired Officials from the Sketchy Data Firm Mueller Is Investigating: Report

At least four ex-employees of the firm now work for Data Propria, which performs campaign services similar to those Cambridge Analytica provided, the report says.

Parscale is a part owner of Data Propria's parent company Cloud Commerce, which bought his web development company Giles-Parscale in August for $9 million, according to multiple reports.

The document in question responds to questions first presented at an April hearing at which CEO Mark Zuckerberg was grilled on the company's data misuse in the aftermath of the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Although the head of Data Proporia denied these claims, he has confirmed that his new firm has agreed to do 2018 campaign work for the Republican National Committee.

In a 229-page document addressed to US Congress in the wake of Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal, Facebook revealed that it had looked into building the technology, Fortune reported on Wednesday.
