Terrorists ID'ed Among 62 People Killed on Gaza Border

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with Paraguay President Horacio Cartes at the Prime Minister's office in Jerusalem

On Tuesday, Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas withdrew his top representative to the US.

At least 59 people, including unarmed women and six children, were shot dead while more than 2,700 others were injured by Israeli soldiers during protests over President Donald Trump's controversial relocation of the United States embassy from Tel Aviv, a move that has been praised by Israelis but has enraged Palestinians and the governments of other countries, including in the European Union, and Iran and Russian Federation.

The motion comes days after the killing of at least 60 Palestinians in the past four days by Israeli soldiers at the Gaza border.

Australia was not represented among the diplomats from the more than 30 countries present at the high-profile ceremony, with Foreign Minister Julie Bishop telling The AJN that ambassador Chris Cannan was not in Israel at the time.

Israel has said its troops were defending its border and accused Hamas militants of trying to attack under the cover of the protest.

"They were keen these marches do not slide into armed confrontations and we agree with the brothers in Egypt over that", Sinwar said in an interview on Al Jazeera television.

He called on Israel to use force proportionally and avoid using deadly force except as a last resort, a message echoed by the council's European members.

Levine said that the group plans on targeting Massachusetts Senators Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey with a phone call campaign to encourage them to hold Israel accountable.

Some of them and others, including China, called for an independent probe into the events at the Gaza border.

This was corroborated on Tuesday by Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who blamed Hamas for the dozens of deaths in Gaza for "pushing people to the border".

Guatemala was one of only a few nations that backed Trump's decision in December to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and is only the second country to move its embassy to the holy city. The Palestinians claim east Jerusalem as the capital of their future state.

"We didn't agree with it but it's a reality now, it won't be our position and we will continue to work for peace in the region".

Palestinian and Turkish leaders called Monday's killings a "massacre" while the United Kingdom and France urged Israel to show restraint.

Now the U.S.is an unlikely facilitator for peace.

Meanwhile, Turkey told the Israeli Consul General in Istanbul to leave the country temporarily, state media said on Wednesday.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said Egypt was in communication with both sides "so that this bloodshed would stop".

Israeli officials have questioned the accuracy of the claim of the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry that 62 people were killed during the border clashes this week.

Speaking to the protesting students and teachers, Karachi University Teachers Society President Prof Dr Jameel Kazmi said inaction of world powers on Israeli aggression in Palestine had given birth to a humanitarian crisis. The majority of those identified belonged to the Hamas terrorist group, while others belonged to the Islamic Jihad terrorist group, according to Israel National News.

Each accused the other's country of violating worldwide law.
