Stalker 2 Development Confirmed, Launches in 2021

STALKER 2 Announced

It will launch in 2021.

The project was cancelled in 2012, and the studio super secretly released a few titles and now are resurrecting their sequel title, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2. The nuclear accident and another odd event some years later have caused a number of terrifying mutants and unusual phenomena to spring up in the zone.

A similar message appeared in the official group of the game "Cossacks 3", which also deals with the Studio GSC Game World.

Why Iran nuke deal collapse not to dramatically affect oil market?
Just hours later, Israel sent a barrage of rockets into Syria in response to the Iranian rocket attack on the Golan Heights. In exchange, the signatories of the deal agreed to lift sanctions that had crippled the Iranian economy for years.

The last mystery worth bringing up is, will GSC Game World be the publisher of this game or will there be someone else helping the team? There's no telling if the devs will be rocking an updated X-Ray 1.6 (after S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat's X-Ray 1.5) or if the devs will be powering S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on something else entirely.

This was later confirmed thanks to a Facebook post from Sergiy Grygorovych, CEO of GSC Games World, the development house responsible for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. A website cropped up (http://stalker2.com) and the official GSC Game World website states that the game is now in the works.

"Today 15.05.2018. I officially declare: GSC GAME WORLD DEVELOPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2", reads Grygorovych's post, followed by a link to the promotional website for the game.
