Shooting death of suspended school teacher ruled a homicide

Rachael Del Tondo reportedly was suspended from her teaching job at Pa. Cyber after confidential information allegedly leaked from the Aliquippa Police concerning her and a former student

Police have not named a suspect in her death and would not comment to the media about whether they had interviewed any suspects. She was an elementary school teacher but was suspended months before her death.

Shortly over a year later, 32-year-old Rachael DelTondo died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in front of her mother's home. Police had been called in around 10:30 P.M. local time where they found DelTondo; she was found shot after getting out of her auto, with neighbors claiming they heard around 10 to 12 gunshots. Several neighbors said they heard up to 12 gunshots. At this time, it is believed that she died at the scene.

DelTondo subsequently spoke with The Beaver Countian in December 2017, and said the relationship was merely a friendship.

Another neighbour, Dan Casper, added: "I don't know why that happened".

"I don't know why that happened".

Mayor Dwan Walker told WPXI: "Mrs. Del Tondo was a bright light".

Though she was suspended by Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, DelTondo was never charged. The incident allegedly occurred in February 2016, and DelTondo was found with the student in a parked vehicle at 2:00 a.m. near Aliquippa hospital.

Police noted that 'the windows were steamed over and the engine was not running'. When asked, DelTonto said that she was "just talking" to her former student, who was "upset and needed someone to talk to". DelTondo then retreated back to her vehicle and "left the area", according to the report.

Britain's wealthiest get richer by £64 billion in a year
Sir Len Balvatnik was listed in third place at £15.26bn, after being knighted this year for services to philanthropy. Mr Ratcliffe, 65, spent the first ten years of his life in Failsworth, before moving to East Yorkshire.

A police incident report revealed officers discovered the teacher with the boy at approximately 2 a.m.in a parked auto near Aliquippa Hospital, according to The Beaver Countian. Cops later found text messages and Snapchat messages which revealed the pair had a 'relationship'. The email did not include any evidence of messages between the two individuals and it's not known if the existence of these messages has been verified outside of the email.

No charges were brought against DelTondo over the incident, and police drove the teen home that evening. Once a victim of a confidential information leak, reports suggest that the state police investigation that followed may have possibly led to her death.

The newspaper received an additional anonymous email on October 27th alleging a coverup. "Nobody, including Ms. Deltondo, the Aliquippa Police Department, the juvenile male or his family, or any other person or agency had informed PA Cyber of this or any other incident", Hayden told Times Online.

But sources say it also prompted a state police investigation of the Aliquippa Police, and that DelTondo cooperated.

"We were saddened to learn of the tragic death of Rachel DelTondo, apparently the result of a violent incident in the City of Aliquippa". However, the check never came in the mail, so the family reached out to their local KDKA-TV reporter, Marty Griffin's segment, "Get Marty". "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing". According to the report, her family wanted to go big when DelTondo got engaged.

After DelTondo's fiancé called off the wedding - after the alleged incident occurred, but before the alleged incident was made public - DelTondo reportedly attempted to purchase the $10,000 wedding dress that she'd put a deposit down on in order to resell it.

When the designer did not appear in court, a judge ruled that he should pay the DelTondos over $4,600. They called off the wedding after the affair.

However, School CEO Brian Hayden said records show the teen was never a registered student at PA Cyber.
