Iranian Foreign Minister Visits China To Discuss Nuclear Deal

The two leaders agreed for their teams to hold discussions on the potential impact of US sanctions on firms doing business in Iran

President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the deal on Tuesday, raising the risk of conflict in the Middle East, upsetting European allies and casting uncertainty over global oil supplies.

So far, China, France, Russia, Britain, the European Union and Iran remain in the accord, which placed controls on Iran's nuclear program and led to a relaxation of US economic sanctions against Iran and companies doing business there.

Bolton added that, once it sinks in that the USA doesn't plan to adhere to the deal, other nations will follow in suit.

No regime loyalists would dare say it, especially to an American reporter, but Iranians are furious with their own government's failure to deliver basics like electricity, water and decent wages.

"It seems that today screaming and shouting, insulting and bullying, systematically destroying and dismantling everything that is already in place is the mood of our times".

White House National Security adviser John Bolton said USA sanctions on European companies that maintain business dealings with Iran were "possible", but Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he remained hopeful Washington and its allies could strike a new nuclear deal with Tehran.

The former England manager has had a troubled relationship with Everton fans, who are unhappy at his style of play. When first asked about the deal, Olson told reporters in the USA : "I don't know what you're talking about".

"This impulse to destroy is not leading us anywhere good".

French exports to Iran doubled last year to €1.5 billion, while German exports rose by €400 million last year to €3 billion.

"It's possible. It depends on the conduct of other governments", Bolton said on CNN's "State of the Union". "It's going to be very hard and it's going to be very different from the past but our determination is to keep this agreement in place".

Earlier on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran would remain committed to the deal "if the remaining five countries abide by the agreement".

Earlier in the week, France, Germany and the United Kingdom expressed "regret and concern" over the US' withdrawal.

Mogherini will host the talks between the so-called E3 powers and Mohammad Javad Zarif, the statement said. Merkel said it was important to maintain a "strong transatlantic partnership" but added: "If everybody does what they like, then this is bad news for the world".
