Two airliners at an worldwide airport in Istanbul, Turkey, collided on the ground, breaking off the tail of one of the planes.

An Asiana Airlines A330 was believed to be taxiing to its gate at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport when its wing struck a Turkish Airlines A321.

The collision resulted in a fire on the Turkish Airlines plane, with firemen rushing to the scene, the news organisation said.

The incident is being investigated.

Asiana and Turkish Airlines had not responded to ATW's request for comment at the time of publication.
