The pilot, who has not been identified, was taken to Havasu Regional Medical Center and released Tuesday afternoon, Air Force officials said in a statement.

SAN DIEGO- A military plane crashed at the Lake Havasu Airport Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The pilot ejected and was treated and released from a hospital this afternoon.

A crew from the air base has been sent out to recover the plane, which appeared to be missing the nose section of its fuselage.

A high-speed boat crash on Lake Havasu on Saturday killed two men from Lake Havasu City and left a woman critically injured, KTNV reported.
