Napoli throw Serie A race wide open

More pressure on Napoli than Juventus claims Allegri

TURIN, Italy (AP) - Kalidou Koulibaly scored a late victor to help Napoli win 1-0 at Juventus and reignite the Serie A title race on Sunday.

With four games left, Napoli's victory has made the title race a photo-finish affair.

Napoli dominated play but failed to create clear chances until centre-back Koulibaly powered home Jose Callejon's corner in the last minute.

It was the third defeat this season to six-time defending champions Juventus.

"Of course, it's very hard and fantastic to win here, it gives us enormous satisfaction but we have to remain lucid".

"Juve are a very strong side, but we proved Napoli can fight it out with them".

"We have always believed in the title and now we believe in it more than ever", Koulibaly said.

"Winning here was practically mission impossible, we can be happy because we have played against a great team which hasn't lost at home for so long", Koulibaly said. But the season isn't over and if we need to give more, we'll find more to give. "We believe in our football". "We proved that tonight".

Juventus, chasing a seventh successive title, still face hard matches away to Inter Milan and AS Roma.

Napoli will hope to capitalise on any slip-up by their modern rivals when they tackle the likes of Torino, Sampdoria and Crotone across their remaining fixtures.

In other results, Lazio and Inter Milan kept their push for Champions League football alive on Sunday.

Lazio remained level on points with third-place Roma and a point ahead of Inter, which struggled but won 2-1 at Chievo Verona.

Napoli looked to have took the lead just before half-time, as Insigne slotted the ball under Buffon, but the experience of Lichsteiner at right back payed dividend, as the Swiss global perfectly time the offside trap and the Napoli forward was denied his ninth league goal of the season.

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic opened the scoring on 32 minutes before Stefan De Vrij netted the second 11 minutes later.

Immobile tapped in a Milinkovic-Savic assist five minutes from the end, quickly adding a second to consolidate his position as leading Serie A scorer with 29 goals this season.
