October box office collection day 1: Varun Dhawan's film earns 5.01 crore

REVEALED The Varun Dhawan Katrina Kaif starrer dance film might be made in 4D and here are the details

Perhaps, it is Sircar's weakest film which holds no surprise but still manages to leave with a heavy heart. Ever since he made his debut with Student of the Year in 2012, Varun Dhawan has not seen a box office failure per se. Although Varun proved himself with his performance in Badlapur, which is a slightly different kind of film as compared to the films he has done before, it definitely falls under the commercial banner.

As per Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst, the movie that has a simple yet handsome love story in it has managed a slow start at the box office and has earned Rs 5.04 crore at the thatres on its first day of the release. Total: Rs 12.51 crore. As per the report of Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh October earned a total of 12.51 crores.

Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer October received a decent response on its opening day at the box office.

Going by the positive word of mouth reviews, it looks like the director has worked his magic once again. Friday 5.04 cr, Sat 7.47 cr. The duo has been hailed for their performance by several film critics. After a long time we get to see the story which is written and not constructed.

Varun is certainly one of the biggest star in the country right now but the collections of any film is also dependent on the nature of it. Let's not lose the humanity in human and that's what I wanted to say with "October".

Bankrolled by Rising Sun Films & Kino Works, "October" is scripted by Sircar's frequent collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi.
