Destiny 2's Second Expansion 'Warmind' Dropping May 8

Hopefully Warmind will be full of new content so that gamers will want to play the title again.

The Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes are here, so we've got everything you need to know about it.

While Bungie has become more open in sharing its plans for updates for Destiny 2, word on the game's second DLC expansion has been scant.

The developer announced that there will be a livestream on the 24th of April 2018 on twitch.tv where they will show off the new content and give players a closer look at the upcoming expansion. For those who haven't, the news on offer is substantial, primarily because developer Bungie has finally revealed a name and even a release date for the game's newest incoming expansion.

The studio vaguely describes Warmind as sending players "to new places to meet new heroes and battle new enemies" along with the promise of new loot and activities. However, to play the maps in the newly added private matches, you'll have to purchase the DLC. Today, we're naming it and dating it. The game's second DLC, Warmind, is slated to arrive on May 8th. This also confirms many previous speculations and leaks, including lending perhaps some credence to fake leaks in the past. I feel like I'm not alone in that.

California Governor Jerry Brown Sending 400 National Guard Troops to Border
But in a letter sent Wednesday , Brown says California troops will not enforce federal immigration laws or build a border wall. A spokesman for Brown said the location and assignment of troops would "be dictated by the needs on the ground".

Season 3 is also when Bungie will mix Crucible maps a bit. Over the past few months, the player base has decreased rather significantly because the "Curse of Osiris" expansion placed numerous maps behind a paywall. In September, with season four and the presumed launch of the still-unannounced third expansion, Bungie is planning to make changes to "weapon slot systems".

I'm excited for new expansion, and very much looking forward to the trailer.

The folks at Bungie posted some new information about what's in store for Destiny 2.

"Recent updates have focused on immediate issues to the live game, but in the coming months our vision for the future is converging with critical player feedback to deliver transformative changes to Destiny 2".
