Mourinho shrugs off criticism from 'worst manager' De Boer

Mourinho confirmed Paul Pogba is a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League game against Sevilla after picking up an injury in training last week, as he suggested his side's victory over Liverpool will count for little unless they back it up with wins in their next two games.

José Mourinho has given a withering critique of Frank de Boer, describing the former Crystal Palace manager as "the worst manager in the history of the Premier League".

"Where he was saying it is not good for Marcus Rashford to have a coach like me because the most important thing for me is to win".

"If he was coached by Frank he would lose because he lost every game".

The Dutchman, who is still without a job, served as a pundit for the United-Liverpool clash, and claimed it was a "pity" that Rashford has Mourinho as his manager after the game. "The kid made all the right decisions and they wanted him to make all the wrong decisions". "But when you draw away even though it's a 0-0 - and that's not an especially good result - but we get to decide the tie at home, we don't have to win three, four, five, we have to win 5-4, 8-7, 2-1, 1-0, not to win the tie be disappointing". "Analysing a performance for me is more than number of goals or assists, and for me I'm really happy with Marcus". Does he play every match from the start? No.

Sources close to the process, however, said even with emerging market status, Aramco would struggle to raise $100 billion locally. The FT report said London had a "good chance" of securing the listing, citing insiders briefed on the negotiations.

We're starting to play more like a team and Rashford stepping up in Anthony Martial's absence is testament to that.

While Rashford has struggled for minutes in 2018 he has actually been used regularly in the main by Mourinho since the former Chelsea boss took over at Old Trafford ahead of the 2016-17 season.

"The first leg leaves everything open for tomorrow", added Mourinho. Only Manchester City, from the top six, we haven't beaten, at this moment.

YOU can lambaste Jose Mourinho for his - at times - pragmatic approach to football or if you disagree with how he deals with the press but one thing you cannot question is his approach to Marcus Rashford.

"When you are in the last-16 it looks really, really far but when you are in the last eight you start smelling the semi-finals, the feeling is that you are amongst the best". When a team gets into the last eight, the feeling is you are among the best and anything can happen.
