Former Bad Boy Records rapper Craig Mack dies at 46

Craig Mack Flava In Ya Ear rapper dies age 43

Mack's hit "Flava In Ya Ear" helped spark Bad Boy's 90's dominance, but he left the game in the mid-1990's and slept a low profile in SC until his passing.

According to the New York Daily News, Mack died of heart failure in hospital near his home in SC on Monday (Mar 12).

Mack grew up in Brentwood, Long Island, and recorded his earliest work as MC EZ. I'm kickin' new flava in ya ear.

Easy Mo Bee, who produced "Flava in Ya Ear" and numerous songs on Funk Da World, also shared a story about trying to get Mack back into hip-hop and the rapper's ties to Christianity. In the Summer of 1994, those words were inescapable in cars, in clubs, on radio and on TV.

It's a sad day in the world of Hip Hop this morning as it has been announced that the rapper Craig Mack has passed away at the age of 46.

The remix of Mack's single Flava In Ya Ear also provided one of the breakout moments for Bad Boy's revered star Notorious B.I.G.

Repeating his concern about the U.S. trade deficit of $800 billion past year , he said "the biggest problem is China". That's why legislators from US states that export agricultural products are deeply concerned with Trump's action.

Mack's debut album Project: Funk da Word was his most successful peaking at 21 on the USA album charts. His follow-up single, "Get Down" went gold.

I'm devastated over the news of Craig Mack.

Fellow musicians such as Evidence, Boi-1da, Pharoahe Monch, Termanology, Roc Marciano, Joe Budden, and R.A. the Rugged Man have paid tribute on Twitter. While the subject matter was completely different from his material of the past, the song showed Mack still maintained his distinctive flow. It marked a return to Rap, and a reunion of sorts with the EPMD family tree. "Nobody got to understand his story", Toney told The Daily News.

'I wanted the world to know the talent he had. I can not believe this dude is gone. Mack's cause of death was not a surprise, according to a friend Alvin Toney, who is a producer that worked with Craig Mack on his debut album.

"He was prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the Lord". He was prepared to do that.
