Australia's Mindfreak Reached the Top 8 of the Rainbow Six Siege Invitational

Rainbow Six Siege Devs Have No Plan For A Sequel, Active Player Base Is Still Growing

To begin with, they reiterated that Siege is here to stay as there is no sequel now in the plans and they hope to keep updating the game for a long time.

The developers were speaking at the 2018 Six Invitational, as reported by VG247, and it's likely the 10-year goal was not meant literally.

During the Six Invitational Finals panel earlier today, a lot of details were shared regarding the future of the franchise, and chief among the details shared was for fans to not expect a Rainbow Six Siege sequel!

Rainbow Six Siege was released in late 2015 and has been continually supported by Ubisoft with events, new operators and different price points.

The active player base is still growing, with over 27 million players countered across all platforms.

Another huge change that'll affect players who don't have all of the operators they want just yet will come in the form of multiple free operators.

Latvian media say central bank chief's office raided
Rimsevics, at least during the investigation, steps down", Reizniece-Ozola told a news conference. ABLV has been banned from opening or maintaining a correspondent account in the United States.

During year 3, there will be eight new operators released.

Ubisoft will be making some adjustments to the game's Standard Edition.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft also reaffirmed its commitment to churning out 100 Operators in total for the game, as well as confirming that all past and future weapon attachments will be available free of charge. If both of them are banned, a fundamental tool would be taken away-perhaps a sign that Ubisoft will add at least one more hard breacher to the game in Year Three.

These are layout reworks and rebalancing of existing maps, but the changes shown still seemed big. The map "Yacht" is coming back to casual and the Map "Hereford" will be the first map to be reworked. Small changes that should help improve the meta on the map, mostly through improving specific objectives to make more bomb-sights viable.

Hereford Base is the map that'll get the full rework, a preview of the update being shown through the game's Twitter account.

First map to receive a buff is "Clubhouse".
