Roman Reigns releases statement on steroid scandal

WWE superstar Roman Reigns has been named as an alleged client in a steroid investigation

In addition to Reigns, Rodriguez also names Hollywood stars Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg.

Rodriguez described how Wahlberg would use the steroids to bulk up for movie roles where he would be required to put on muscles in a short space of time such as The Fighter, Transformers or Pain & Gain. At the four-minute mark, he begins to list celebrities he claims are associated with the racket, the first of them being Reigns. I was able to be more selective. Richard Rodriguez told filmmaker Johnny Bravo the following: "One of them, in particular, is a very famous wrestler by the name of Roman Reigns". Once I saw his true colors I made a decision to separate ties from him'.

It's unclear how WWE will handle the allegations against Reigns.

In a clip by documentary filmaker Jon Bravo, Richard Rodriguez, who is now under investigation for being part of a distribution ring that sold illegal steroids, suggested Roman Reigns bought steroids from him.

Lebanon overturns ban on Steven Spielberg's 'The Post'
The recommendation from the country's censorship leaders comes as the film is scheduled to open this week in Beirut. But shortly afterwards, he was forced to remove the post after Lebanese Instagram users called him a "traitor".

It should be noted that Reigns has not been linked to Rodriguez by anyone other than Rodriguez himself.

A dealer named Richard Rodriguez was arrested in February past year for supplying steroids and running a ring of over $10m in the Miami area.

Reigns has previously been accused of breaking the WWE's wellness policy. Lesner, who already enjoyed high status within the WWE, was suspended for one year by the UFC but received no punishment from the WWE.

'His comments only go to show that the problem is not with the supply but with the demand'.
