Overwatch's new map Blizzard World opens next week

Bring the whole family

As announced by the Overwatch Twitter page, Blizzard World will be releasing across all platforms on January 23.

Not long after Blizzard World is added on January 23, a Chinese New Year event should kick off in February.

A great thing about this new map is that it not only belongs to the characters and the world found in Overwatch but also has various additions inspired by popular Blizzard properties like Warcraft and Starcraft.

Overwatch is available in Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Only a little more time left, and then you can get the kids in the vehicle, buckle up, and road trip it to Blizzard World. It has been described as a hybrid map suitable for both Assault and Payload modes.

So, grab a ticket and join us for the grand opening of Blizzard World.

Aside from Blizzard World and the, expect a follow up to last year's Lunar Event that celebrated the Year of the Rooster. Blizzard has teased that 2018 will see plenty of new content released for its hero-based shooter, so fans have plenty to look forward to this year.

Are you still playing Overwatch or have you moved on to other games?
