Minnesota Vikings activate Sam Bradford from IR, so now what?

NFL Playoff Capsules

Hall played on the Gophers' two Rose Bowl teams before spending five seasons with the Vikings.

Ford Ranger Production to Begin in Late 2018

The New Orleans Saints carry their high octane offense into Minnesota to take on the Vikings in the NFC divisional round on Sunday. Bradford was back for the Bears game, but hobbled around in the first half before being pulled for Keenum.

Teddy Bridgewater was originally the quarterback having led the Vikings to the Divisional round of the playoffs in 2015.

Minnesota waived tight end Kyle Carter to make room on the roster for Bradford. Bridgewater was activated off injured reserve on the same day that Bradford was placed on IR. This would indicate that Bradford would likely be the next man up if something were to happen to Keenum during Minnesota's matchup against the Saints. Current starter Case Keenum has been highly efficient in place of Bradford since taking over in September. Keeping Sloter around with this move is just another indication of how much the Vikings do not want the rookie getting scooped up by another team.
