Knoxville Man Named in The'Top Ten Most Wanted List

Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch told news outlets the man opened fire on Officer David Williams with a shotgun Thursday night as Williams attempted to stop him for speeding.

Authorities were searching for 31-year-old Ronnie Lucas Wilson, who has an unrelated, outstanding warrant for violation of probation for aggravated assault and who should be considered armed and risky, Rausch said.

Rausch said the officer is not believed to have fired his weapon.

Authorities recovered Wilson's vehicle early Friday.

Wilson said he is thankful that the deputy is okay, and he wants his son to turn himself in so no one else gets hurt.

Trump to undergo medical check as critics question his mental fitness
Trump tweeted: "Actually throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart". The White House also faced a barrage of questions last month after he slurred some words during a speech on national TV.

It is not clear if the gunman was the only person in the vehicle during the attempted traffic stop.

The TBI is offering up to a $2,500 for information that leads to Ronnie L. Wilson's capture for attempted first degree murder of a police officer. Police said information was developed in the investigation that indicated Kristin Denise King may be in danger.

Law enforcement agencies across the state are still searching for Wilson.

Officer Williams was transported to UT Medical Center to treat a gunshot wound to the shoulder, where he was later released Friday morning. Facebook photos reveal a large swastika tattoo on his body as well as a Celtic cross with the words "White Pride Worldwide", according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Authorities say they are "very familiar" with the suspect, noted he's listed "as a member of the Aryan Nations gang"-the largest white supremacist gang in Tennessee, according to the Anti-Defamation League". He was given a three-year prison sentence after he was convicted of aggravated burglary in 2011.
