Rob Lowe Blasts Bella Thorne For Clueless Mudslide Tweet

Earlier on Thursday, Lowe expressed grief for the the lives lost during the catastrophic natural disaster facing Southern California-which he said included some friends.

Bella Thorne tweeted a complaint about traffic in Los Angeles preventing her from getting to her boyfriend rapper Mod Sun's concert.

While the 20-year-old has since deleted the tactless tweet, the St. Elmo's Fire alum laid into the actress for her ignorance.

According to Daily Mail, the star of "My Own Worst Enemy" was given a healthy dose of perspective by fellow actor Rob Lowe after she tweeted, "F**k u 101 Barbara".

Her mother raised Bella and her three sisters, and the actress has previously talked of her hard childhood, saying she suffered from dyslexia and was bullied at school for speaking Spanish.

Bella deleted her original tweet, but tweeted an apology, writing, "F- just caught up on some news had no idea why the 101 was shut down...get home to your family safe", adding a heart emoji.

Thorne's representatives didn't immediately respond to INSIDER's request for comment.
