FBN--49ers-Foster-Arrest

Reuben Foster was arrested Friday for possession of marijuana

On Tuesday, the former Crimson Tide linebacker was arrested in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and charged with second-degree marijuana possession. AL.com (http://bit.ly/2moysWi) says the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office arrest database indicates Foster, who just finished his rookie season, was arrested Friday and bond was set at $2,500.

The arrest is noteworthy in part because Foster failed a drug test at the National Football League draft combine last spring.

He was drafted 31st overall by the 49ers last spring. It was also reported he failed a drug test at the Combine, but another report stated his urine sample was dilute - which automatically counts as a positive test.

New Zealand batting first in third ODI against Pakistan
However, Hasan Ali played a scintillating inning coming lower down the order and helped his side to register a total of 246 runs. New Zealand named the same lineup that won the first match of the five-match series by 61 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system.

"We spoke with Reuben about that and felt comfortable about that situation, as well", Lynch said at the time. It sure sounded like he had a long day, which you can imagine.

The arrest comes nearly two weeks after Foster wrapped up a rookie season in which he finished second on the 49ers in tackles with 72 in 10 games. He made 72 tackles and was credited with one pass defensed. Foster missed six games with a high ankle sprain and a rib injury.
