Barack Obama explains 'dad moves' on David Letterman's new Netflix talk show

Barack Obama reveals he showed off his ‘Dad’ dance moves in Ffront of Prince

Says Obama, "Prince asks me to come up and dance [and] she pulls me up, which surprises me because she mocks my dancing".

Ahead of Friday's premiere episode of David Letterman's new Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, the streaming giant dropped the first clip.

The former president self-deprecatingly talks about his dancing "dad moves" in sharing an anecdote involving Prince, explaining how he has to be careful to "stay in the pocket" instead of pushing it a little too much. "Because I think everybody in here knows dads who get out of the pocket", a grinning Obama, 56, continued.

Meanwhile, the beard - you know which one and on whom - remains long and snow-white.

David Letterman's next guest needs no introduction.
