Tonight: Spotty snow showers. This system is now centered across the high plains states, but it will race southeastward during the day Wednesday and then track right across the Midwest and Pennsylvania overnight tonight, making its way off the Jersey Shore by sunrise Thursday. "People with heart problems can experience worsening of their condition up to several days after cold weather occurs". Temperatures will only reach the 20s in the Litchfield Hills this afternoon. A mainly clear sky in the evening will likely give way to increasing cloudiness right around midnight.

This time of year, those winds won't create too many problems as the trees are bare... however, a few outages/damage reports are possible. For the Northeast, the heaviest snow will be in western Pennsylvania and NY where up to 10 inches of snow could fall. You can expect snow to fall between the hours of 2am and 7am. According to Environment Canada, positive temperatures won't return until Sunday, where Torontonians will see a high of 2 C. Still, enough cold air may still be present that perhaps a little snow or ice could mix in.
